What are Handwritten Checks?
1. Handwritten checks assumes there is a voucher outstanding for a vendor and you have paid the voucher by a handwritten check. In this module, you can record the payment and apply it against the outstanding voucher. 2. Go to Accounts Payable and Data Entry and double click on Handwritten Checks. 3. Select the customer by name. Open vouchers will appear. 4. Select the voucher you want to pay. Complete how much cash is to be applied to that voucher. Complete check number and other information. 5. When done click Save. Go to the general ledger module to post.
