What are gum paste or sugar flowers?
Gum paste is a type of sugar dough that is rolled very thinly and cut out with special cutters or by hand. Each flower petal is then shaped and formed by hand until the desired flower is completed. The flowers are then left to dry for a few days and finished by hand painting with edible color. We make ALL our own flowers and leaves. So our flowers are always in season and look vibrant and gorgeous in any season. The flowers can take as long as a few days to a few weeks to complete depending on the type and amount of sugar flowers needed.
