What are GUIDELINES FOR A LETTER OF INTENT for Collaborative Research Centers / Seed Grant Awards?
Candidates for DHFMR Collaborative Research Center Awards are invited to submit a Letter of Intent indicating their interest in the program as a preliminary step to responding to a formal Request for Proposals. A Letter of Intent must include the following information: 1. Name, address and contact information 2. Specific research aims – 1 page 3. Background and significance of proposed research – 1 page 4. An outline of the proposed research plan and methods – 1 page 5. A brief list of relevant publications – 1 page Letters of Intent must be submitted by the Principal Investigator(s), and/or research laboratory Director, and should include a brief CV (not to exceed 2 pages) of each of the principal researchers. It is not necessary to submit a budget at this stage.
