What are Guided and Escorted Tours?
Guided Tours are just that, guided. You will be led by a guide who has local knowledge ensuring that you get to ride some great biking roads and see all the right places of interest. We use like many other tourers a simple “drop off” system, which allows you to ride at your own speed. There are no maps to read, or route directions to follow. Escorted Tours do have a guide however you are being escorted, therefore responsible for doing your own navigation. Relevant maps, suggested route directions and information for you to find your destination are all provided in the cost of these tours. Again many riders like this style of tour as it allows them to ride at their own pace either alone or in small groups or alternatively you can always ride alongside the guide.
