WHAT ARE GREEN BUILDING CHARRETTES?
A charrette is an interactive workshop that involves all the stakeholders in setting environmental goals and strategies for a green building project. Typical stakeholders include the builder owner, architect, landscape architect, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineers, and general contractors. It is also common to have community participation in charrettes as well as participation by local governments, the media or utilities.
