What are graduation requirements for Bachelors in Applied Arts & Sciences (BA AAS)?
Students enrolled in the accelerated degree completion program must meet the graduation requirements established for a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts & Sciences . In addition to the special requirements of the basic program and those of the major field, the following general requirements apply: 1. Credits – Every candidate for a BA AAS. degree must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours before graduation. Thirty credits at the 300-400 level must be taken in two or three academic disciplines. 2. Term of Study – Transfer students are expected to take a minimum of 30 credit hours at Georgian Court and at least half of their major courses. 3. Graduation Grade a. An average of C for all courses, the equivalent of a 2.0 grade point average, must be maintained. b. Unless otherwise indicated for a specific major, a minimum average of C+ for all courses in the major field, the equivalent of a 2.5 grade point average, must also be maintained.
