The graduate admissions committee tries to figure out how you will perform in graduate school. To do so, they will look at several things: • Letters of recommendation from faculty members • Your record of research • The courses you have taken and your grades in those courses • Your GRE Scores • Your Statement of purpose Of these, probably the letters of recommendation are most important.
