Public health regulations in India require that all travellers take the Yellow Fever vaccination, should they be travelling to regions where the Yellow fever is endemic. Since the live attenuated vaccine is not recommended for immuno-compromised persons, people living with HIV are advised to take the said vaccine after appropriate advice from the treating physician. HIV positive persons are vulnerable to yellow fever infection.
