According to Google, Lab features are “experimental new features in Gmail.” Each feature needs to be enabled by the user in order for it to take effect in their account. It has been stated by Google that these features may, “break at any time, disappear (temporarily or permanently), or be graduated to full features.” So, before you enable a lab feature please take Google’s statements into consideration. If you are experiencing an issue with a specific lab feature you may disable it and then use the following link to provide Google with your feedback. Please be aware that while you are free to use the features found in Google Labs, ITS will not be providing support for the Labs that you enable.
