A basic knowledge of grammar, punctuation and correct English are a must. A creative mind and the ability to put your thoughts into words in a way the reader can easily understand. I think it’s something you’re born with. I have it and my kids have it…even one grandson has it. My husband cannot put his thought into words that run smoothly in a message. Where I will sign a card ‘Love & Hugs, Gram’…he will sign it ‘From Your Grandfather’. Kind of stiff, to me. I you have a story burning in your head, just start pouring it onto paper and see how it goes. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying, right? Good luck!
