What are good things to sell on ebay that a teenager might have?
I’m a college student, and in the summer I make $200-300 a weekend by going to garage sales every Friday and Saturday morning and buying things, and then reselling them on eBay. Look for things like stereo equipment, musical instruments/accessories, industrial equipment (such as restaurant appliances or commercial tools), laserjet printers, cell phones, or anything else that looks like it might hold value. Stay away from antiques unless you really know what they are…whenever I buy antiques, I just end up with a bunch of worthless crap sitting around my house that won’t sell. Most importantly, make sure you’re out on the road by 7:30 or 8:00 am in the morning, on Friday if possible, because all the valuable stuff is always sold within the first 30 minutes of the garage sale. I usually won’t stay out past 10:30am looking for stuff, because ALL of the good stuff is gone by then.
