What are good seats in the Broadway Theatre?

I go to the theater a lot. In most Broadway houses, the front row is NOT where you want to sit. The very best seats are usually about 5 row back in the orchestra section and CENTER. The next best seats are the very front row of the mezzenine and CENTER (or of the balcony, but only if there is no mezzenine section – otherwise the balcony can be too high in some theates. You’ll note that center is important. Even if you are in a lousy part of the theater, wayyyyy back, try to sit as close to center as you can. It really makes a difference!
