What are good reasons for quitting a job?
We’ve almost all been there: A job for which we were not a good fit. You quit. You made that decision. Ask yourself why you quit. It was a lousy job? You can do better? You left for a better opportunity. Employers will disqualify your application if you use terms like: Personality conflict I was injured on the job I left for religious reasons I didn’t like my pay or schedule or fellow employees Someone I know was sick so I left to take care of them I broke up with my girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband and broke down I got stressed out I had a breakdown The boss and I had a disagreement I could do better Someone else offered me more money If you use any of those above, the person reviewing your application or conducting your interview will see you as a rogue and a poor candidate for employment.
