What are good British fish dishes except fish and chips?
Smoked Haddock is a nice dish for a light tea , served with some fresh brown bread and butter and a nice cup of tea. For something a bit more upmarket Salmon with a nice Hollandaisse sauce with new potatoes and green veg is tasty and very healthy I also love fish , and when I eat out I always look to see what fish is on the menu , I like Halibut and Jake as well If you are in the UK just do as I do and look at what fish is being served , you will normally find at least a couple of fish dishes having been to Japan and tasted real Sushi , I also love this , well at least some of them (not Octopus !!) and I also steer clear of the very hot paste , the name of which escapes me for now I am sure you will be very pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of fish dishes throughout the UK I wish you good eating.
