What are Global Actions policies concerning behavior?
Global Action reserves the right to regulate the conduct and dress of each team member for the good of the team and mission. Team members must be prepared to submit to local standards in each of these three areas that communicate the highest levels of compassion and respect for God in that culture. Your team leader has the authority to interpret and enforce these standards. In the area of dress, we will be representing the local church. Therefore, team members should plan to dress modestly. U.S. travelers should be aware that in a foreign country, a U.S. citizen is subject to that country’s laws and regulations, which sometimes differ significantly from those in the United States and may not afford the protections available under U.S. law. Penalties for breaking the law can be more severe than in the United States for similar offenses. Persons violating local laws, even unknowingly, may be expelled, arrested or imprisoned.
