What are GIS, UTM and Location Map?
GIS means Geographical Information Survey. It provides the longitude and latitude of where the sign will be erected under the earth. The GIS model has become old fashioned and does not provide accurate figures. The Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates is a better version of the GIS. Its compatibility and use is much more effective and accurate for determining the positioning of a building under the earth. It is a requirement in the pre-scrutiny application form for an advertisement permit. The Location map is a detailed map of the structures surrounding the allocation of the proposed structure.
