What are gifts to the Stewardship and Legal Defense Reserve Fund used for?
Once a conservation easement is secured the Conservancy is legally required to monitor and defend the easement if there is a violation that threatens or destroys important conservation values. The Conservancy is required by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission to properly monitor easements and have the necessary financial resources to protect these easements in perpetuity. Your designated contribution to the Stewardship Fund will help us safeguard conservation easements throughout Tinicum and sustain the organization for the long term.
