GHI intends to comply with the applicable provisions of HIPAA’s NPI Rule. Between now and the end of the CMS contingency plan, GHI will continue its ongoing efforts to map our legacy provider identifiers to providers’ NPIs. We will also redesign business processes necessary to accommodate the NPI. Throughout, we will continue to inform our submitters about our progress, as well as any changes to GHI’s current transaction submission standards.
