What are GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics all about?
Three separate Science GCSE awards: one in Biology, one in Chemistry and one in Physics. Individual grades from A* to G available in each subject. How does it follow on from what I have learned before? Each module covers an element of Biology, Chemistry or Physics and together they make up the balanced Science course. How is the course structured? All Key Stage 4 you complete the minimum of a double GCSE award in Science consisting of nine modules, three in each of the subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with ‘How Science Works’ as an constant focus throughout. Following three separate Sciences at GCSE will allow you to work to strengths in individual subject areas and get individual grades for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Taking three separate Sciences is no more difficult than studying double award Science – you just do more of it.
