What are fun things to do in Arizona outside of Phoenix?
Besides Phoenix, I highly recommend visiting Sedona, The Grand Canyon, and Tuscon. In Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon is a very scenic place with red rocks and interesting rock formations. Some of the rocks have names, like Coffee Pot Rock. There many excellent hiking trails in Oak Creek Canyon to explore. Sedona is a very nice town with many shopping opportunities, including Tlaqapaque Mall. It’s a spiritual place, where gems and psychic readings are readily available. They also have many great massage therapists. I got a massage at one of the massage schools in Sedona and it was very relaxing. Also, if you’re in the mood for adventure, pink jeep tours has some fun tours of the area. The Grand Canyon, especially the South Rim, is a good place for sightseeing. Bright Angel Lodge is a nice place to stay within the park. They have good service and food. The Yavapai Point and Observation Station has excellent views, especially at sunset. Pima Point is another area where sunsets are spectacular.
