What are formals and how many do I need?
“Formals” is another way to say posed portaits. These are large group, family and bridal party pictures. You can do as many or as few of these as you want. They can be traditional or non-traditional. Decide what you and your family will truly value and how you want to spend your time. Some couples don’t do any formals and some have long lists. Be sure to have enough time for your portraits, including casually posed group shots and just of just the two of you.
