These boundaries are also known as the “perimeter”, “side boundaries”, “walls” or “surround” of the strata lot and may consist of brick walls, edges of concrete floors, support pillars, brick fences. Floor Plans also include, when necessary, statements to define the upper and lower boundaries of a strata lot. Note: A Floor Plan is required for every category of strata scheme plan.

The detail included on the typical floor plan includes the location of interior and exterior walls, windows, door frames, and any built in amenities such as shower stalls, closets, and cabinetry. Depending on the intended use of the floor plans, the detail may include a number of other elements, such as electrical outlets and overhead beams.
