What are five uses of Nitrogen?
The main use of Nitrogen by man is to make fertilizers. It is used to make nitrous oxide (laughing gas), an anesthetic agent. It is also used to make plastics, explosives, light bulbs, and liquid nitrogen is extremely cold and can be used to cool things, or to instantly freeze them in scientific experiments and other uses that require very low freezing temperatures. These are only a few of the innumerable uses of this prevalent element.
