FileMaker intends to develop new software for Mac OS X, and not for earlier Mac OS versions. We plan that the current FileMaker 6 line will be the last developed for Mac OS 9. ‘Most of our customers using FileMaker on Mac OS are running on Mac OS X, and the strong adoption will continue with Panther,’ said Dominique Goupil, FileMaker president.
