What are fancy mice?
Fancy mice are considered to be any other color then white with red eyes (only true lab / feeder mouse) or wild mice (ex. doormouse). Fancy mice were bred to be sold as pets and shown at mouse shows. They come in a variety of different colors, patterns, and breeds that were, are specifically selected for. There is even a longhair and hairless variety. Fancy Mice are very gentle and rarely ever bite, because of this they make great pets even for small children as long as they are properly handled and cared for.
