What are face cards in a deck of playing cards?
In some NCERT Mathematics textbooks of Class Ten, it is given that Ace, Jack, Queen and King are the face cards and in some reprinted versions of textbooks, it is stated that Ace is not a face card, and only Jack, King and Queen are face cards. (M.Venkateswara Rao, Maths teacher, Visakhapatam.) As stated in the latest textbooks of NCERT in the subject, the total number of face cards in a deck of playing cards is taken to be 12. An ace should not be considered as a face card. The question has arisen whether, for Income Tax II, new rules will be used or those given in the NCERT book adopted. S. I am studying in Class Ten. I would like to know whether photocopies of answer sheets of students who scored high marks in the previous Board examinations are available.
