What are Extended Weekday Detentions and Extended Saturday Detentions?
For more serious infractions, students may be assigned an extended weekday detention (EWD) or an extended Saturday detention (ESD). If this is the case, you will receive a discipline sheet that gives the details and a letter to the parent/guardian will be sent home. Students must sign up in the VP office the day that they will serve the EWD. EWDs will be offered two days per week (2:55 – 5:55 p.m.) If a student is assigned an ESD, he/she will be told the specific Saturday to serve (7:45 – 11:45 a.m.).
