In order to be considered for Expert Selection a round brilliant diamond must have been certified as AGS Ideal or by GIA as Triple Excellent, the highest grades for cut quality by the two foremost laboratories in the industry. In addition, Expert Selection Round diamonds must exhibit a distinct hearts and arrows pattern indicating that they possess outstanding optical symmetry.
