What are examples of good inter-connecting of different websites owned by a single organization?

My nonprofit organization runs a handful of different websites (one main one for the organization plus several for individual programs it runs). I’m looking for examples of such a network of websites that is done well. Right now, all our sites are kind of free floating, with no real connection between them (so our audience tends to be ignorant of the fact that the other websites exist). One example of a network of websites is the tuts website network: http://psd.tutsplus.com. They have a network button at the top which lets users navigate between the websites. Granted, this is not a corporate or nonprofit website, but it is an example of inter-website navigation. Does anyone have other examples? The website network can belong to any type of organization from car companies to nonprofits orgs. Thanks!
