What are examples (advantages/disadvantages) of the Patriot Act?
I was asked to present my driver’s license in a supermarket last week for a cash purchase. I refused and requested that the store manager be called. I explained to him that clearly written on all US notes are the words, “for all debts public and private.” This ensures anonymity and precludes any need to show your papers. The manager was nice but wanted to keep our conversation quiet off to the side and out of earshot from other customers. He told me that Homoland Security had gone to the store’s regional division 4 months ago and said they must begin enforcing provisions in the Patriot Act 2. It turned out that the store manager didn’t care for the communists’ plan to engineer a police state in America and told the checkout girl to let me pass. Another one of the stipulations in Patriot Act 2 is that Americans cannot buy and store (e.g. hoard) more than two weeks of food.
