Evidence-based Practices (EBPs) – also referred to as Best Practices or Promising Approaches – generally relates to approaches in the alcohol and other drug prevention field that are validated and supported by documented scientific evidence. A main source for information about EBPs is the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) a service of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
