What are EQU codes?

0

When referring to formations, our Drilling Suite is based on a dictionary of EQU codes (equivalent codes) for formations. EQU codes refer to the stratigraphic order, not the geological age of formations. An example of equivalent formations are the Bluesky and Glauconitic. These are stratigraphically equivalent formations and therefore both have an EQU of 325.
