What are Email Filters?
Filters Filters screen incoming email for keywords and file the email into specified folders based on this criteria. This allows members to better organize their mail. Filters could be targeted towards redirecting unsolicited advertising or emails containing sexual content into the trash folder, or it could be a filter used to automatically place a favorite weekly newsletter into a special personal folder. The potential uses of filters are numerous. Members can enter multiple filters at once (maximum of 15). The important thing to be sure of is that no matter how many are entered, the [Done] button must be clicked when finished. It is also important that each filter that is to be put in use have a check in its corresponding “Enable” box. If this is not filled in, the filter will not work.
