What are “egregious” errors?
Egregious errors are obvious deviations from Graduate School Manual requirements. Most papers that are submitted to the Thesis Office contain minor errors that require correction. In some cases, however, a paper contains certain substantial (or “egregious”) errors, the correction of which will require extensive reformatting of the text. Examples of egregious errors include excessively small margins, misplaced tables and figures, and incorrect citations of sources.
