What about the ambitions of students? I went to school with people for years and have no clue what they wanted to do. You could focus on how many people have no idea what they want to do or if people feel pressured to do something “practical” instead of chasing their dreams or you could do an article on what people think they’re going to do in college and where they end up. You could interview teachers, the principal, your counselor, etc. asking what they wanted to be when they were in kindergarten, then in high school and how they ended up where they are and if they’re happy they did. I think high schoolers are often thinking about the future and I think it would be really interesting to see what other people are thinking (plus, making the teachers seem a little more human is always fascinating). People’s dreams are usually somewhat private, so I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to highlight the dreams of kids from all different kinds of cliques. I’m not in high school anymor
