What are eBooks? Do I have to check eBooks out from the library?
eBooks are electronic versions of printed books. You can read eBooks online for research and reference. eBooks included in LINCCWeb cover a wide range of subject areas, from literature and business to academic subjects, such as algebra. Your library may offer additional eBooks in the collection. To search for eBooks, just select eBooks in the Format box of the Keyword and Advanced search screens. Enter the rest of your search requirements and click Search. Since eBooks are available in electronic format online, they’re available at your convenience – anytime, anywhere. eBooks are available online in fifteen minute increments – just click anywhere on the eBook screen within fifteen minutes to keep the book open on the screen.
