They make simplified versions of song books for just about any style of music or any popular band. Don’t mess with tabs, it takes too long too long to learn songs from tab. You can learn to play by notes in just a few months, and then you’ll be able to play any of these songe “on sight.” They even have a name for this skill, they call it “sight reading.” Plus, it’s easier to work out the suggested fingerings when you are playing from the notes rather than the tabs. Notes are so easy compared to tabs, when someone tells me “I couldn’t learn the notes so I play by tabs,” I just have to laugh!
