The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations (known as the EAA Regulations) were introduced in 2004 by the government to provide greater protection to vulnerable temporary workers, and ensure recruitment companies provide a quality service. All workers seeking employment via recruitment companies are, by default, covered by this legislation.
