E-Docs are an electronic solution to time-consuming, error-prone paper processes. E-Docs will replace all of the paper forms that are used today to conduct HR activities. The Personnel Action Form (PAF) is the most prominent paper form to be replaced by E-Docs. PAF transactions include: hiring and transferring employees, modifying pay rates, putting someone on leave of absence. Supplemental and pay vouchers are other examples of paper documents replaced by E-Docs. E-Docs will improve the accuracy of data by supplying data from which users can choosethese data will be pulled directly from the PeopleSoft database, ensuring the validity of user-entered data. In future releases, E-Docs will also be able to verify relationships between user-chosen values, further improving the efficiency of data collection. An electronic solution to a paper-based system, E-Docs will also support the implementation of paperless routing and approval.

If BMK sends a Notary Signing Agent E-docs, the Notary Signing Agent is responsible for printing out the documents and carrying them to the signing. Reply by CopperheadVA on 7/7/08 9:56am Msg #254316 E-docs are docs that have been sent to you electronically. They can be attached to an e-mail as a pdf file (or several files), or the title company may give you a link to retrieve the document package off of a secure web server. You likely will need a password, which they provide. You may also have to download the software needed to open the file, which they also usually provide you with a link to that. If they have you download the lender docs from a secure site, then the TC will likely also send you additional title docs as a pdf attachment.
