What are dwarf conifers? How big do they grow?
The simplest answer is that they are slow growing varieties of their “normal-sized” relatives. Due to their slow growth, they remain at a small size for a long time but some can still reach impressive heights, given enough years. An Eastern White Pine might reach 50-75 feet in 40 years, while a Dwarf White Pine might never be taller than 5 feet . Dwarf Conifers also do tend to have shorter mature height than their standard-sized relatives when fully grown. For more information, see our About Dwarf Conifers page.
