What are Development Tasks?
Development tasks are specific activities that have been identified by the Council, its Members and its services that are designed to improve the service provided to our community. All development tasks are ‘owned’ by services, whether specifically or part of the Council’s wider cross-cutting service delivery. Each service plan and contains the development tasks that are relevant to that particular area. Strategic development tasks and service development tasks are both included in the service plans but only the Strategic Development Tasks are reported on to elected Members. Service Development Tasks are, in the main, operational improvements and are therefore not reported upon publicly.
