What are Dashboard Confessional concerts like?
It varies by venue, but they are AWESOME regardless…Chris feeds off the crowd and really conveys genuine joy in sharing his music with the fans. The rest of the band is great to watch as well! They are definitely my favorite band, and they are AMAZING live! I have been to 5 of their concerts in the last 3 years. Three different concerts in my home town (Salt Lake City) and twice in Vegas at House of Blues. I have tickets to their upcoming MTV Rock Band tour as well. I’d have to say that House of Blues was my favorite venue because it was small and intimate so you could get right up next to the stage if you got there early enough! At bigger venues, there are a lot more people and a few I’ve been to they had crowd surfing, but no moshing or anything. They usually play some of their new songs, and tons of their classics and fan favorites! (Just don’t yell out requests for popular songs, Chris doesn’t like that =P).
