What are CSL, COA and other license types?
Some teams use different acronyms to describe their license type. For example, the Seattle Seahawks use Charter Seat Licenses (CSL’s) and the Cincinatti Bengals use Charter Ownership Agreements (COA’s). Although the acronyms may be different, each license type provides the holder with the same right to purchase season tickets. Teams who do not have seat licenses may still allow the owner of the season tickets the ability to transfer these rights to another owner. The Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers are examples of teams who currently to not have seat licenses, but still allow the transfer of season ticket rights to new holders.
