What are crowns, veneers, and onlays?

We are glad you asked! A crown caps the entire structure of a tooth that has become too weak to stand on its own. Porcelain veneers are bonded to the front teeth, while an onlay covers the top of a back tooth. For many crowns, veneers, and onlays, we can create them in just one visit with our new CEREC machine. Before we acquired the CEREC machine, we had to send the crowns and veneers to a dental laboratory for fabrication, which often took weeks. With CEREC, we can produce them onsite during your visit.
