I know people who have had avocado trees in San Diego. I live on the Central Coast and we have such a variety of crops here: Cauliflower, artichokes, lettuces, awesome tomatoes, even mushrooms. go a little further inland and you’ll find oranges and other citrus, corn, spinach and other greens. If you go to the farmer’s market, you can find just about anything you can think of and they’re all locally grown. I love it here!
