What are credit card fees that I may incur?
Some credit cards require an annual fee, which is a yearly cost to you for using the card. It will be posted to your balance when you open the account, and will be added again each year. You can be charged late fees when payments are received after the due date, while an over-the-credit-line fee is levied when you exceed your Credit Line. Also, you may be charged when you send in a personal cheque for payment and it isn’t honoured. Read your Cardmember Agreement carefully so you know all the fees for your credit card.
