What are CPDs main activities?
• CPD organises regular policy dialogues with participation from major stakeholders including policy makers, academics, experts, civil society, representative from the business community, NGOs and other civil society groups to stimulate a culture of dialogue and discussion on various important development issues. • CPD conducts in-depth research on critical development issues to service the needs of an informed public debate. • CPD provides an avenue to young people in Bangladesh by conducting an internship programme, where they are offered an opportunity to participate in the various activities conducted by CPD. (more information) • CPD conducts Policy Appreciation Workshops where representatives from relevant organisations are invited to participate. • Through its publications CPD endeavours to disseminate information on key issues of developmental interest to Bangladesh.
