Side effects of Cozaar can include abdominal pain; fatigue; insomnia; back pain; sore throat; dizziness; cough; muscle pain; stuffy or runny nose or diarrhea. More serious side effects can include chest pain; feeling faint; pale skin; painful urination; numbness or tingling; bleeding or bruising easily; weak pulse; slow heartbeat or swollen feet or hands. You should contact your doctor if you experience any of these serious side effects. If you experience any of the signs of an allergic reaction, you should get emergency help immediately. These signs can include swelling of the face, mouth or tongue; trouble breathing; rash or hives. Cozaar has been linked to a condition which could cause muscle tissue breakdown and ultimately kidney failure. If you experience weakness or muscle pain accompanied by vomiting, nausea, dark urine or fever, contact your doctor immediately.
