WHAT ARE CONTRAINDICATIONS & WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE INTRASENSE MY GP’S CONTACT DETAILS?
A total contraindication is a reason why a client will not be treated at that point. They are as follows: – Fever – Contagious or infectious disease – Under the influence of drugs or alcohol – Diarrhoea – Vomiting – Sexual advances Please also note that if you have any of the following conditions, Intrasense will need to obtain your GP’s written permission before proceeding with any treatments: – Pregnancy – Cardio-vascular conditions: thrombosis, phlebitis, hypertension (high blood pressure), hypotension (low blood pressure), pacemaker, angina, circulatory problems. – Oedema (build-up of excess fluid in body tissues). – Diabetes – Cancer – Nervous or psychotic conditions – Epilepsy, Bell’s palsy, trapped or pinched nerves.
