What are complete dentures and partial dentures?
There are two major types of dentures 1. Complete dentures – it is a removable appliance that replace all the natural teeth. It may be conventional (made after the removal of the teeth and the healing of the gums, usually taking 4 to 6 weeks.) or immediate (dentures are made in advance and are placed immediately after the teeth are removed). 2. Partial dentures- replace one or more, but less than all of the natural teeth and associated structures of the arch.
